I get that it is not always easy building a consistent stream of income once you have decided to take that big leap to fully live in your purpose and pursue your dream of being a business owner.

It is not always easy to keep it all together.

No matter what, you have financial responsibilities like keeping a roof over your head and feeding yourself.

As a new or aspiring business owner, making money consistently can be rough and make you feel as if you are a big fat loser and worthless. Sometimes things can become so bleak where you begin to question “WHY” you made the choice to pursue business for yourself in the first place.

Do you ever wonder about the “gurus” who are raking in the cash seemingly by the snap of a finger?

Doesn’t it get on your nerves when you think about how you are busting your tail to keep that money coming in so you can just survive and they are talking about how they have launched a new program that lands them an easy 10, 20 or $50,000?

Have you wondered why you hear incongruent messages that say, entrepreneurs work the hardest and yet they are always talking about mindset and how ‘freakin’ easy it is to attract money?

At times extremely annoying and other times heartbreaking. Simply put, it is frustrating trying to figure it all out, create, build and sell products and services all at the sometime.

Well, I have been there for sure. I remember feeling as if I was doing something wrong because I didn’t have the “RIGHT” mindset. Or feeling shameful that I couldn’t see beyond my *ish and be happy. There were times when I though my mentors where insensitive and unable to understand where I was coming from.

What I learned was this….   I was holding on to a lot of stinking’ thinkin’ when it came to money and it had everything to do with how I was raised and perceived money.

Not until I addressed my negative beliefs about money did I begin to understand how I was getting in my own way.

Could you be harboring old and negative belief systems and blocking your money flow?  

You may or may not be aware of your beliefs that are playing out and getting in the way of your success.

Here are some examples:

1. I am not worthy of having money

2. Money is evil

3. I am bad or greedy for wanting money

4. If I have money I need to spend it

5. Rich people are greedy and evil

6. I am poor and will never be nothing

7. Money is hard to come by so I got to keep what I have

8. I gotta work hard to make this little bit of money

9. I must be the best to make it big in this world

These statements and beliefs come from somewhere and they are often passed down by our parents and families.

These ideas are carried into adulthood until you wake up and make a decision to RE-WRITE YOUR MONEY STORY.

You get to re-write your story based on who you are today; your value system; and the legacy you want to leave.

You are an individual.

You have a voice.

You have needs.

You have a vision.

You want to change your life.

You want to break down barriers and be successful.

Money is energy.

Money is a tool.

Money is a resource.

Money presents opportunities.

Money is access.
